UAE Rules concerning Medical expenses and hospitalization
It is important for all Competitors to fully understand the situation with regards to medical expenses according to the UAE Rules. In the event that “you,” the registered Competitor, have an accident during the event that requires medical attention in a hospital, the following procedure needs to be followed:
In case of an accident, a claim form will be sent to you or a third party by email, which needs to be completed and sent to the EMSO along with the complete Hospital report and receipt.
Once received and verified, these documents are forwarded onto our Insurance Company Partner for review and reimbursement process.
Please note that there is an excess applicable to all insurance claims.
By signing this entry form, you fully understand the above, and you confirm all medical costs will be settled by you or a third party before leaving the hospital.
